eChannelling is a service that allows you to book your Doctor Appointments at prominent hospitals all across Sri Lanka. Our network of over 5,500+ doctors in over 260+ hospitals Island wide are ready to assist you in any way.

You can refer to our Hospital Network  list to check what hospitals are available.

                  • You can dial 225 from any mobile network or 1225 from your SLT phone.
                  • Drop by our website
                  • Download the “eChannelling” mobile app from Google play store or App Store.
                  • At any pharmacy partnered with eChannelling.
                  • By visiting banks and Post Offices island wide linked to the eChannelling network (Refer Banks)

The Mobile Application can be downloaded via Google play store or the App store. 


You can use any of the options below

                      • Option 01 : Type the doctor’s first name and search OR
                      • Option 02 : Select the available hospital and search OR
                      • Option 03 : Select the doctor’s specialisation and search

Any method will allow you to search and select your preferred doctor.

                      • Then you must select your preferred date and session of the doctor.
                      • Enter the patient’s details 
                      • And select the preferred payment method and proceed. 

Remember: You have a maximum of 15 minutes to complete the transaction before the appointment expires.

Once the payment is made, a confirmation SMS will be received to the mobile number provided by you as follows from eChannelling.

                    • There will be no refunds or cancellations!
                    • You will receive a receipt from the website which you will have to show at the hospital.
                    • You can check the number of successful appointments through the channel history button.

Dial 225 through any mobile network (Mobitel, Dialog , Airtel and Hutch)

                  • When using a prepaid mobile account for the payment, make sure that sufficient balance is available in the prepaid account including the call charges.

                  • Appointment amount will be added to the monthly landline bill. Customers can make appointments if sufficient credit is available in the bucket allocated by SLT for Value Added Services.

You cannot cancel an appointment made through e-Channelling and obtain a refund unless you have applied for the No Show Refund (Please refer to the terms and conditions of No Show Refund option)

 However, you could request from the hospital a change of the appointment before the doctor begins their consultation session at the hospital. You may call the hospital to enquire and then visit their channelling counter to request the cancellation. (Telephone number of the hospital is given in your channel receipt)

The appointment details will be in the channel history. By using that function, you will be able to get it back.


Speak to the eChannelling customer care center via (0710225225) to get the SMS to your phone free of charge

                  • We are able to deliver medicine right to your doorstep. This is to save you valuable time and money by sending you medicine at a reasonable cost. 
                  • We also provide medical checkups as well. This has to be registered with the hospital via eChannelling. 
                  • A patient can also undergo haemodialysis as well.

Yes. You can make an Advance Booking and pay later (ACB).

No. You will have to settle the bill at least 30 minutes before the session time. Not paying the amount will lead to your appointment being cancelled.

You can pay your ACB bill by visiting any Mobitel or SLT eChannelling agent in the island.

Unfortunately not. You cannot pay the remaining amount to the hospital itself. Any payment must be made to eChannelling if you have booked the appointment through eChannelling

No, this feature is only available for selected doctors at selected hospitals.
